The Story Behind Butterfly Beauty
Butterfly Beauty was established in 2008 by Nikki Irvine following the end of a toxic relationship where she experienced the upset of viewing properties and the possibility of purchasing a home with her partner only for it to have been a futile journey (or was it?) This led Nikki to seek a way to become independent and make her own way in life without needing a partner. Finances were extremely tight and so Nikki worked 12 hour days 5 days a week at Butterfly Beauty and reinvested every penny for 3 years to set her business up.. After 5 years Nikki achieved what she had set out to do and finally secured a home on her own that still to this day is referred to as the girls pad.
Butterfly Beauty was originally set up in Westerhope but following a car accident which left Nikki injured she moved Butterfly Beauty to what was a house in Newburn (miraculously the exact property that she had viewed 9 years previously in the hope of buying with her then partner) and after fighting for change of use from residential to full commercial for two years Butterfly Beauty Salon and Training was finally granted its forever premises.
The moral of the story being that what is meant for you wont go past you and sometimes you just need to have a little bit of faith, trust the process and remember that a Butterfly will always emerge from their chrysalis bright, beautiful and ready to fly!
